Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company who are currently growing their Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC). The FSSC currently covers P2P processes but it is going to now also take on R2R processes. Therefore this is a great time to join the FSSC and use your R2R knowledge to have a positive impact on the way the manage the R2R processes.

The successful candidate will be qualified and have strong experience in R2R and SAP. You will ideally have experience of working in a Shared Service environment and able to speak one of the following languages: German/Portuguese/Hungarian/Flemish

Core Tasks, Responsibilities & Authority

Reporting to the R2R Senior Financial Accountant the role will focus on the following key tasks:
Record to Report process management
Deliver accurate and timely month end close processes for FSSC's customers
Perform R2R accounting functions such as journal calculation and balance sheet reconciliations
Provide support to the R2R Senior Financial Accountant, acting as cover when the Senior Financial Accountant is unavailable ie due to holiday, sickness etc.
Deliver a high level of service to customers, developing strong working relationships with customers and other key stakeholders within the business
Monitor and report on service level performance against agreed SLAs, and proactively propose action to resolve any performance issues that may occur
Identify and communicate issues & risks
Where responsible for a process, ensure full compliance with IFRS standards and all Finance Shared Service Centre and Finance policies/standard processes both within the R2R team and where appropriate, by its customers
Process and organisational excellence
Assist junior FSSC R2R team members
Support the ongoing expansion of the FSSC
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and support delivery
Input and make recommendations on all APEL projects impacting R2R processing
