Financial Accountant/Project Accountant

My Bristol based Public Sector client are seeking a Financial Accountant/Project Accountant/Public Sector Accountant for a 3 month+ contract.

Key Tasks for the Financial Accountant/Project Accountant/Public Sector Accountant/:
- Preparation financial statements
- Completion of disclosure notes
- Control account reconciliations
- Management accounts preparation
- Range of other accountancy functions
- Fixes assets
- Reconciling accounts
- Year end

Experience/Skills Required for the Financial Accountant/Project Accountant/Public Sector Accountant:
- Ideally a qualified accountant eg ACA, ACCA etc (recognised accountancy body) or a good quality part qualified with experience
- Good attention to detail
- Very hands on - Must be operational
- Experience of ledgers

Desirable:
- Experience of SUN accounting system
- Experience of Sharpowl
- Experience of RAM (Real Asset Management)
- Government/Public Sector accounting experience would be desirable
