Financial Accountant, Part Qual or Newly Qual

Our client, a global Telecoms company, has a requirement for a Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified or part qualified accountant. The successful candidate will have a maximum of 5 years working experience in a top blue company/consultancy.

The Role
Accountant is required to report a robust set of monthly financial results for two Enterprise billing bases, and for providing reporting and analysis for Other Revenues and Costs. Financial Accountant will possess strong analytical capabilities with good commercial instincts - enjoy analysing business performance and will specifically have the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.

Month end Reporting
§Complete the production of timely and accurate monthly Revenue results
§Perform analysis of results to ensure completeness/accuracy and be able to explain key trends and movements.
§Prepare accurate and timely account reconciliation, including investigating and resolving reconciling items
§Provide detailed analysis of the results to the business, giving insight into the drivers behind the trends
§Complete the Other Revenues and Costs month end process, including ensuring that costs are posted to the right place, producing the month end pack and analysis of results to the business

§Other Direct Costs circa £330m per annum
§Revenues circa £100m per annum

Essential
*Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant
*Experience in a similar accounting role a top blue chip firm or consultancy
*The ideal candidate will have up to 3-5 post graduation experience.
*Strong Excel Skills
