Financial Accountant
Our client, a global telecommunications company, urgently requires a Financial Accountant to be responsible for reporting a robust set of monthly financial results for the Consumer business. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have a strong understanding of billing systems.

Key responsibilities:
1.Month end Reporting
-Complete the production of timely and accurate monthly Revenue results for the base within the agreed month end timetable.
-Perform analysis of results to ensure completeness/accuracy and be able to explain key trends and movements.

2.Advice on New Products
-Understand billing and reporting systems, and therefore be able to provide input to changes/enhancements of existing billing systems.
-Understand and advise on new products/services and how billing information can be extracted for accurate accounting purposes (revenue recognition).

Essential
Qualified Accountant (CIMA or equivalent)
Experience in driving change and process re-engineering
Understanding of IFRS
Experience in dealing with multiple complex demands from various areas of the business and various levels of seniority
Appreciation of End to End processes implication (rather than just a functional view)
Strong financial and analytical skills
Knowledge of the telecommunications industry an advantage
Experience in fast-moving industries
Knowledge of SAP, Access, Business Objects an advantage
