Financial Accountant - London

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT - LONDON

Financial Accountant is required for an initial 3-6 month contract to assist with year-end reporting for a major Digital/Media company based in Battersea.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Assist the Finance manager with monthly US GAAP reporting
- Delivery of the monthly management/financial account information to Group
- Development and analysis of monthly cost trends
- Support Finance Manager with quarterly and year end US GAAP audit process.
- Complying with accounting requirements of the company
- Involvement in various finance projects and initiatives
- Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley legislation
- Development and management of appropriate internal controls.

SKILLS:

- A self starter, who is willing to take initiative on new and challenging tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Absolute discretion and observance of confidentiality requirements
- Ability to work with a wide range of people and personalities
- Strong organization skills, orientation to detail and initiative
- Technically competent
- PQE Chartered Accountant,
- Familiarity with UK, US GAAP
- Strong IT skills - Excel and ERP systems
- Ability and willingness to provide a wide range of finance-related services from the routine to more complex tasks.
