Financial Accountant, London

A leading payments company in London is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to support the Finance Team in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of accounting, subledger and payroll systems. The role will involve:

* Managing the month end financial control process for Fixed Assets.
* Supporting the Financial Control team area in other process improvement initiatives.
* Providing business partnering services to functional teams to support the delivery of targets.
* Maintaining Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
* Ensuring all financial deadlines for submissions, reporting and analysis are met.

Oracle experience is strongly preferred, and experience of Audit and financial control would also be highly beneficial.

The ideal Candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with implementation experience of Oracle Fixed Asset module.

Knowledge of payroll accounting systems and extensive experience in either: Intercompany Accounting, Accounting for VAT, Balance Sheet Reconciliations is also required.
