To support a project team at our client's site, an insurance company in Zurich, we are looking for a FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT AND ANALYST - INSURANCE (5719).
The accounting team at our client is involved in implementing the new IFRS 17 standard. In order to support business as usual activities while project teams are involved in transformational aspects of the business, we need project-based, long-term support.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed university degree in economics and qualified accountant/analyst
- AT LEAST 5 YEARS' WORK EXPERIENCE IN A PRACTICAL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING/ANALYST POSITION (preferably in the insurance industry)
- Great technical affinity with knowledge of SAP systems
- Communicative with pragmatic approaches to problem-solving
- STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN ENGLISH
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support BAU activities in accounting
- Support project teams in the implementation of IFRS 17
- Work with the client to create pragmatic solutions to their financial accounting, process and systems challenges
- Partner with key stakeholders to provide accounting expertise and to deliver financial information and analysis to support operational decision making as required
- Perform ad-hoc management related requests and analysis.
