Financial Accountant/Analyst - Banking

An international bank based in Zurich are seeking a Financial Accounting Data Analyst with Liqudity/Treasury risk knowledge to join them on an initial 3 month assignment (+6m extension). The project is to increase compliance for regulatory reporting requirements.

Your role will be to perform analysis on a large balance sheet and to assess the positions and transactions. It will be important to understand how they interact with the liquidity and how to report these figures.

You will come with strong experience and knowledge of accountancy within a large banking environment. The successful candidate will also have knowledge and understanding of treasury and liquidity risk, as well as experience analysing large balance sheets.

Knowledge of or experience with R+ or Matlab would be useful to assist in the analysis, but generally IT flair will be essential
