My blue chip client has an urgent contract requirement for an entry-level financial accountant to join a busy IT Controlling team based in the Netherlands. The successful Financial Accountant will be joining a team responsible for effective financial management within IT, including budgeting, financial reporting, FTE tracking and cost control. Experience of following IT governance and control procedures is essential alongside a can-do attitude and a structured analytical approach to work. This role would ideally suit someone who is looking to further expand their accountancy skills and move into a financial controlling position.

Essential Skills and requirements:

*Experience in financial accountancy with a good understanding of cost analysis and reporting.
*Knowledge of controlling and accounting methodologies for reporting and governance
*Advanced user of MS Excel, MS Access
*Knowledge of IT sourcing, controlling and financial management would be advantageous
*Be able to assist in budgeting, financial reporting, cost and project control for IT across the global footprint of services.
*Excellent financial reporting skills.
*An enthusiastic 'can-do' mentality with a structured, analytical and logical approach, and an ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with IT and business colleagues alike, and external suppliers as applicable.
*Fluent in English, both verbally and written. Other European languages are a plus.
*Occasional travel will be required to other European locations
