Financial Accountant- Active Disclosure Scotland Mandatory

I am looking to hire a Financial Accountant for our govt sector client.

JOB DETAIL:

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

6 MONTHS INITIALLY

£300 PER DAY

LONDON

ESSENTIAL Experience Required:

- Qualified accountant with 3 years+ experience in a large Finance team.
- Experience of preparing statutory accounts in conformity with relevant accounting standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
- Advanced Excel skills
- High level attention to detail

DESIRABLE:

- External audit background
- Detailed knowledge of the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM)
- Experience of producing Central Government resource accounts
- Knowledge and experience of government budgeting and estimates
- Experience in preparing consolidated accounts
- High level exposure and use of complex accounting systems
- Familiarity with complex accounting systems S
- ound project management skills
- Previous expert' user experience of a financial information system
- Knowledge of Managing Public Money
