JOB DESCRIPTION:
This post is based in the Submarine Operating Centre of The Defence Equipment and Support (DE preparing future cost profiles and costing future scenarios to the baseline plan.
Responsible for the completion of audit evidence, and audit returns for the National Audit Office, Defence Internal Audit and assurance of financial returns.
Managing in year budgets, including providing advice to Budget Holders on the current spend against budget and highlighting variances against budget.
Supporting changes to finance policies and processes in response to change programmes both across Defence and within Defence Equipment & Support.
This will include liaison with Accounting teams across MoD.
