Financial Accountant

My public sector client are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join on an interim basis. You will have led on the Annual Accounts in previous roles.

Role Outline:
My client require a high performing fully qualified accountant with good excel skills and financial reporting knowledge and experience. You should have a high level of competence and experience in carrying out similar Lead Accountant roles. The ideal candidate will have line management experience and be used to working independently.

Responsibilities:
This role is required to lead on the production of the year end IFRS based Annual Report and Accounts. As such a lead accountant is required to manage the preparation of the final set of closure accounts.

Essential Criteria:
- Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA) with at least 3 years PQE
- Experience of having taken a lead role in the provision of an organisation's Annual Report and Accounts
- Experience of having worked with Auditors
