THE ROLE

My client want financial management to mean more than just reconciling the numbers, it's about working closely with their front line services so that they really understand their business and add value as trusted Finance   Business Partners. They currently have an opportunity for an accounting technician to cover maternity within financial management looking to challenge themselves to expand on this partnering approach to the Place   department.

RESPONSIBILITIES - manage and deliver budget setting, monitoring and financial closure,

help develop and improve monitoring systems and models to proactively support the Council's services.

quickly establish solid working relationship with a wide variety of stakeholders

analyse, problem solve and identify areas for development and improvement

respond quickly and positively to change; identify and implement change in response to business needs

work flexibly across service areas and with partners to achieve the objectives of the Council

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for AAT qualified technicians who have experience of delivering quality financial and operational advice within a public, commercial or charitable environment. You will have strong analytical and reporting skills also.
