Financial Accountant

My client a leading energy provider in the UK is currently seeking a Financial Accountant. They are seeking a Financial Accountant who has proven experience in financial accounting and can hit the ground running.

The ideal person shall have experience in statutory accounting, gross margin reporting, and should have a general understanding of financial accounting in industry. UK GAAP/IFRS technical accounting experience is also desirable.

Once successful the Accountant shall be responsible for the accurate and timely monthly financial reporting process providing robust financial reporting. You will be engaging with and reporting to key stakeholders, both internal stakeholders and shareholders, ensuring all deadlines are met and information is informative and accurate. The person will also be required to initiate improvements to reporting processes to achieve an efficient and effective reporting process.
