Financial Accountant

My client is a leading UK Retail Bank are are currently looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant to assist in co-ordinating the Retail FINREP project and provide technical accounting support to Retail Business Units.

Duties:
*To assist in managing the project including detailed planning and aligning actions to achieve implementation of FINREP.
*Liaise with Retail Business Units to ensure work is completed to deadlines.
*Liaise with Group Finance on changes to reporting requirements.
*Liaise with internal and external auditors on accounting developments and compliance issues.
*Identify technical and operational problems and take appropriate actions to achieve amendments to policies.

Skills/Experience Required:
*Fully Qualified Accountant with thorough understanding of IFRS.
*Advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP and Oracle General Ledgers.
*Excellent communication skills.
