For our client, Europes largest online travel agency we are looking for a -Finance Team Lead (m/f) on a freelance basis working in Munich.

Project Start: ASAP

Project duration: 12 Months +

Location: Munich

Contract Type: Freelance

Languages: English and German are required.

Our client has recently decided to switch their internal invoicing system and for this reason is looking for an interim team lead to support the management of the team in addition to consulting on the switch of systems.

Main Tasks:
*Immediate reaction for urgent escalations.
*Responsible for overseeing monthly close including (but not limited to) checking, approving and booking)
*Preparation and management of reconciliations
*Task Coordination for internal staff in addition to management of off-shore finance center in India.
*Management of staff, reporting directly to Director Finance in Munich.
*Audit preparation and presentation
*Delegation of tasks as required

Requirements:
*Minimum 5 years experience within the Finance industry
*Deep knowledge of Excel
*Managed a team of minimum 4 people in the past.
*Experience with off-shore centers.
*Accounting, bookkeeping, and tax audit experience is a must have.

Nice to have:
*Understanding of an SAP system transfer (not critical)

Languages:

Written and spoken German and English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English and German
