To support the current and ongoing change agenda within Insurance Finance, providing leadership and guidance where necessary through the changing regulatory environment (particularly in relation to Solvency II), helping shape the strategic direction of these towards a vision for all Insurance Data used within the business.

To provide & define Quality Assurance to the data supplied to Insurance Finance from the Data Warehouse, striving to continuously improve the processes in order to provide the most complete, accurate and appropriate level of data provision possible.

To provide support and Subject Matter Expertise to the Investment Accounting Function within Insurance Finance and to develop Subject Matter Expertise amongst colleagues relating to the investments and the data stored with the Data Warehouse, and to become a champion for the tools used to extract the data, to allow them to achieve the best usage of the information.

To liaise with third party data suppliers to ensure that Data Quality and Data Queries are dealt with promptly in order to negate any associated risk and comply with group data policies and governance.

To provide understanding and communicate a wider understanding of the uses of Insurance Data, including Market Data to ensure compliance risks are mitigated.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Support and guide Projects to ensure they understand and maintain the strategic direction for Insurance Data requirements.
- Be first point of contact for project delivery, providing consistent, clear and regular updates on progress along development path to management ahead of stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain and develop Quality Assurance processes in line with group data policies.
- Support and develop innovative solutions for reporting. Own and govern best practices around testing and development.
