Finance Reporting Manager, Financial Services/Insurance, North West

FINANCE REPORTING MANAGER role to work for a FTSE100 FINANCIAL SERVICES company based in the NORTH WEST. This is an initial 3 MONTH contract paying between £450-500 a day.

The main purpose of this role is support the business in the delivery of External Group Reporting, to design and implement a Financial Reporting Control Framework and to lead Risk Management activities for group finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare reports and analyse financial results for the board and audit committees.
- Lead delivery of risk reporting for Finance
- Lead the design and implementation of a financial reporting control framework.
- Review the financial reporting control framework
- Lead first line risk team for Group Finance

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

- Qualified Accountant
- Strong Financial Reporting Experience
- Excellent Financial Services Experience ideally life insurance OR insurance
- Understanding of IFRS
- General Ledger knowledge
- Advanced Excel
- Stakeholder Management
