Finance Project Manager - VP - CT

My client is looking for a senior project manager with 5+ years of experience and a financing or accounting background to help build out a number of global projects for trade automation across their credit risk, quant risk, ops, and product control systems. -The Project Manager would be responsible for implementing global projects / initiatives consistent with the group transformation agenda - You will opperate as the global coordinator and act as an information conduit working closely with the Business Units traders, middle office functions, regional/local Financial Controllers, Risk Managers and Head Office Treasury, Operations and the IT departments - Candidate will need to intimately understand the challenges as they relate to the Platform building key stakeholder relationships across business functions (e.g. legal, tax, finance, accounting, treasury, middle office, back office, front office) - Candidate will need to work with multiple geographic locations and hence be familiar with multiple jurisdictions, the most notable of which are: China, Brazil, Australia, Indonesia, Argentina, Singapore, USA and Europe - Candidate will need to be able to challenge local needs in order to promote global process standardization; or to facilitate best practices/standards that can be adopted globally - Candidate will need to manage, develop and lead a geographically diverse team This is a permanent position based in Stamford, CT.
