Finance Programme Manager

The main purpose of the Programme Manager is to provide the programme and project knowledge, leadership and experience required to ensure the effective implementation of business and operational projects, specifically around finance transformation and finance related projects within this leading insurance business.

The Programme Manager also will be responsible for:

- Developing the Finance Programme with the Senior Responsible Owner, together with Project strategies and blueprints
- Uses their experience of strong internal and external stakeholder management skills to manage the complex needs of senior management.
- Is able to influence and articulate company and Finance strategy within a Group environment
- Has task management responsibilities for Project Managers
- Assesses all associated projects (pipeline and active) and reports any potential impacts and interdependencies
- Coaches and mentors the Project Managers and ensures consistent Programme and Project standards are applied

CRTITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- A strong finance/finance transformation background
- Extensive insurance industry experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
