Finance Process Lead - ERP/Finance/Workstream

My client is a forward thinking and employee focussed FMCG organisation. They are looking to recruit a Finance Process Lead on a two year contract to support the direction of the business.

This role will take responsibility for developing the future end to end Financial processes, systems and activities of the business and embedding them in an ERP and Business Intelligence solution. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future financial processes.

ROLE PURPOSE

- To translate the various business and functional needs, into a single simple workable process meeting the design criteria and objectives set for the project.
- To deliver the functional design for the process stream based upon a standard QAD EE (Mfgpro) process template
- To secure the engagement and approval of the business and finance function for the functional design

ACCOUNTABILITY INCLUDES:

- Take accountability for the overall functional work stream plan and deliverables
- Ensure that the financial process is fit for purpose, meets the criteria of the project and has been approved and signed off by the appropriate Governance bodies, including gap analysis between the core QAD EE system and business requirements
- Provide and recommend business process improvement
- Ensure any QAD EE system constraints are incorporated into business designs and develops the prototype (document, script, test, & resolve issues). Prepare functional specs.
- Adhere to all the Programme standards and processes
- Manage the workstream budget & guide and mentor the workstream team
- Integration of process and design with other workstreams
- Ensure all work stream documentation is up to date and to the required standards
- Ensures that sign off the workstream design is obtained from SMEs, Functional Leadership teams and process Owners and that full and continuous communication and engagement with these business personnel takes place
- Full and detailed testing of group template and market releases. Provide training material and documentation, training of super users, and support training execution and delivery.
