Finance Process Consultant

Wilkinson & Associates are currently working with their client, a large banking group, to identify candidates for an on-going, high profile process improvement initiative which will impact all areas of the Group's finance operations.

With a specific focus on Finance processes, you will be required to work closely with a broad range of stakeholders up to and including executive level to identify key processes which can be improved and partner with stakeholders such as Divisional Heads of Finance and other process owners to facilitate and drive a customer-driven continuous improvement programme designed to deliver best in class core finance processes. These will ultimately improve how the organisation interacts with it's customers, both internally and externally.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of core finance systems and end-to-end processes within a large, complex organisation and have a proven track record of using industry recognised tools and techniques (LEAN/6 Sigma) to deliver significant process change. A generic change management or LEAN background outwith Finance is not sufficient for this role.
The successful candidate is likely to have a background in accountancy and will have latterly developed their career in process improvement/change management projects for accounting functions. You will be expected to demonstrate an ability to design and implement innovative process-based solutions supporting the creation of new finance function operating models and to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team.
