Finance PMO Manager

Edinburgh - Financial PMO Manager - £400 - £450 per day.

EA Consulting Groups' Edinburgh based Banking client urgently requires a motivated and experienced Financial PMO Manager to join them on a contract basis.

The successful candidate with be joining a large transformation programme that is involved with corporate pensions. This role will lead and is accountable for programme finance. The candidate will need gravitas as key stakeholders are at a very senior level in the organisation.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Sole custodian of the financial position of the project. This includes all spend associated with the project/s including both Customer Ops Business/Insurance and IT costs. Owns one version of the truth for the programme overall and detailed financial position.
- Key interface to Group IT and Business Finance Partners and teams.
- Ensures the programme meets its commitments as part of agreed Business and IT financial governance.
- Development and agreement of robust financial monitoring and control processes across both Business and IT costs.
- Implementation and continuous improvement of financial management and control processes.

Development of financial reporting - Chairing financial monitoring and control meeting forums.
- Management of resources (as allocated) to conduct the monitoring and control processes and provide reporting requirements.
- Lead, support, guide and direct colleagues from across the project, including other PMO colleagues, in all matters and processes relating to the projects' finance
- Build a strong sense of advocacy within project PMO
- Working with specific Project PMO Manager as part of the wider PMO function to provide insight, thought leadership and lead activities in support of the PMO teams broader aims.
