Projektbeschreibung

To provide specialist payroll knowledge and associated general ledger accounting to maintain the integrity of the resulting balance sheet accounts. CIPP qualifications desired but not essential.

To work as part of the Payroll Team, coordinating and administering Payrolls for the EMEA region. The team ensures that all Employees on these payrolls receive the correct salary, standard payments (car allowance, fuel allowance, etc) and deductions (State and social taxes, pension, etc), as well as any additional non-standard payments (overtime, on-call, shift allowance, etc). The payroll team also ensures that deductions are made in accordance with company procedures and guidelines, and comply with governmental and local statute requirements. The team also interacts with the Service Bureau providers and local administrators as required.

Main Responsibilities:

*Assist in administration of monthly payroll for business EMEA Region (multiple payrolls).
*Ensure Payroll is managed in accordance with current legislation as issued by local tax and accounting authorities.
*Ensure all records are stored and adequately maintained for the required period of time.
*Enter any payroll changes as notified and authorised by local and Head Office HR Staff
*Obtain and maintain records for other payroll benefits on a monthly basis.
*Process cash payments through the payroll as directed.
*Maintain and file regular benefits-related returns and submissions.
*Obtain monthly PMI statements, update P11D records, and administer any necessary deductions through payroll.
*Raise journals and reconcile monthly payroll balances to the General Ledgers.
*Provide monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all nominal ledgers, for all assigned payroll related accounts and costs, including the payroll control account, tax accounts, corporate and management bonuses and confidential accruals.
*Working with the service bureau providers, ensure monthly payrolls are administered to comply with company and banking deadlines.
*Ensure all processes and procedures are adequately documented to comply with company and regulatory requirements, including Sox compliance.
*Administer Maternity and statutory payments as instructed by HR and in compliance with company maternity policy.
*Provide responses to any queries received from government departments and tax authorities, pension trustees, auditors, consultants and internal management as appropriate.
*Where required, post the monthly bonus accrual to the general ledger and reconcile the balance sheet bonus provision accounts.
*Create and administer any manual payments, as requested and authorised by HR.
*Provide query resolution for employees and staff on all EMEA Region payrolls.
*Ensure all non-standard payments (overtime, shift allowance, on-call, bonuses, etc) are accurately administered on a monthly basis.
*Other duties that may reasonably be required to fulfil

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Solid UK payroll experience, multi-national would be an advantage.
*Exposure to ADP Payroll systems would be an advantage.
*Good working knowledge of Excel.
*High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Self motivated.
*Strong team player.
*Cultural awareness, with an ability to work with people at all levels across a number of countries.
*Journal input and account reconciliation experience essential.
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
*Understanding of requirement to maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Context/Environment:
*Complex environment within a UK-based Payroll team.
*Multicurrency awareness
*Day-to-day dealings with multinational 3rd parties who may have English as a second language.

Key Measures:
*Responsible for the integrity of the UK payroll and some smaller country payrolls.
*Adherence to SLA's, internally & Externally
*Meeting period end timetables (internal and external)

Working Relationships & Team Working:
*Part of the Finance Team within the Shared Services Centre.
*Provider of information to and query resolution for internal & external auditors.
*Dealing with Regional Controllers, local and in-country admin staff, payroll bureaux, 3rd party advisors for tax and statutory accounts, and internal customers from all departments.
*Working with senior managers for reporting and compliance matters and other ad-hoc initiatives.
