Finance Migration Consultant - Contract

OUR CLIENT, A LARGE BANKING ORGANISATION IS LOOKING TO RECRUIT A NUMBER OF EXPERIENCED FINANCE CANDIDATES TO JOIN A LARGE MIGRATION PROJECT. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK WITH THE CURRENT PROCESS OWNERS TO FULLY UNDERSTAND HOW THE CURRENT PROCESS WORKS, ENSURING ALL KEY TASKS ARE UNDERSTOOD, DOCUMENTED AND RISKS ASSESSED.

The successful candidate will then lead/assist with the implementation of the migrated process in London

The individuals will be part of a project team reporting into both the Project Manager and also the relevant Head of Finance for the transferred process

SKILLS SET REQUIRED

- Qualified Accountant
- Proactive Self Starter
- Strong system skills, particularly Excel, (SAP and BW skills would be beneficial)
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Able to deliver at pace to meet tight deadlines
- Able to form effective and persuasive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication

ADDITIONAL INFO

Working hours: - Mon - Fri

Ability to travel essential as early work will be predominantly in Edinburgh, with later work based in London
