Finance MI Analyst/Management Accountant - Contract - Midlands

Panoramic Associates are urgently looking for a Finance MI Analyst/Management Accountant to join a large insurance firm.

The role will involve

- Managing the quarterly forecasting and annual business plan activities for income.
- Working as a business partner to support accurate outcomes enabling decisions and assumptions about future performance to be made.
- Being an effective business partner to the marketing function, with particular focus on the creation and development of robust campaign analysis and MI.
- Developing a management tool to consolidate marketing campaign plans and operational capacity planning activity.
- Developing a weekly sales performance MI including presenting and discussing results at the Weekly Sales Group meetings.
- Assuming responsibility for some cost centres in the group, managing the expense budgets through close liaison with the relevant business functions.
- Adhoc project work, as the business requires, particularly involved with product enhancement, product development and other product proposition work, as the need arises.

Key Skills

- Business partnering experience - communication at all levels of business
- Ability to project manage an organisation-wide initiative
- Advanced Excel skills - VBA
- Accounting experience

Preferable

- SQL coding experience (for adhoc project work)
- Accounting qualification
