Finance Manager - PLC background (E-commerce or Telco) - London - to £450 day

Online retailer is looking to strengthen their Finance & Strategy team and are seeking a world-class finance leader to manage the finance for their growing International eCommerce business. This role is responsible for partnering with the General Manager of their International eCommerce business to drive Sales, Revenue, Operating Income & Customer Satisfaction. The role is responsible for supporting business leadership with insightful analysis to evaluate business performance and enable strategic decision making.
This role will lead all financial planning, forecasting and reporting for their International E-commerce business.

The role will partner with the rest of finance:

FP&A, Controllership and Analytics to build world-class capabilities that enable an ambitious long-term strategy.

This role offers the chosen candidate a unique opportunity to learn about their business, impact the future direction of the business and develop relationships with finance and business leaders across the organisation.The role is based in their London office. It will report to the 'Director, eCommerce Finance'.

Key Responsibilities:
*Partner with the General Manager and his/her leadership team to drive long term sustainable & profitable growth
*Be a critical member of the International eCommerce leadership team managing business performance and making strategic tradeoffs to deliver growth/customer satisfaction
*Provide thought leadership on financial architecture and clarity to management on the direction of the business in terms of Sales, Revenues, resource allocations and Operating Income.
*Support strategic planning and influence business leadership with data & analyses to drive timely and effective execution.
*Direct all financial forecasting and reporting processes for International eCommerce including but not limited to Monthly Forecasts, Annual Budget & Annual 3 year Business outlook.
*Partner with global FP&A, Controllership, & Analytics teams to ensure accuracy & compliance on all financial reporting and analyses.
*Govern and facilitate compliance and high-quality execution with overall corporate finance timelines and processes.
*Develop and execute on FP&A ops. excellence long-term strategy, anticipating business growth and complexity and solving in advance with world-class people/capabilities, processes, reporting and systems.
*Work with global cross functional teams on ad-hoc business projects - lead such efforts when appropriate
*Lead finance and integration of any newly acquired businesses, as well as participating in finance/accounting due diligence for potential acquisitions.

Desired skills & experiences:
*10+ years of increasingly responsible experience in finance leadership roles with a bias towards Operating Finance roles & Financial Planning & Analysis experience.
*Minimum of 2 years progressive people management experience.
*Ideal candidates will possess an MBA or other relevant advanced degree from a top tier school, or a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/economics from a top tier university combined with an impressive track record.
*A multi-national, publically listed company background from an organization with a highly regarded finance team is important. The ideal candidate will however combine experience in a larger company with experience in a smaller, more nimble organization with broad exposure.

Initial 3 month contract, rate to £450 day
