Finance Manager Job

FINANCE MANAGER is needed for a long term contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Ensure accuracy of Service Provider charges and pass-through expenses
- Work with third party service providers regarding creating, modifying, tracking and reporting purchase orders
- Work with third party service providers regarding validating invoices.
- Compile regular IT financial reporting, including budgeted vs. actual expenses, forecasts, and financial trend analysis
- Investigate, validate, and resolve financial variances in forecasted expenses or usage
- Participate in such activities as: contract negotiations, vendor reviews, special projects, benchmarks and audits, root cause analysis and other assignments as assigned
- Complies with GAAP and Client's internal accounting policies
- Complies with tax laws
- Complies with company SOX control framework
- Participates in proper construction of agreements in a multinational/multi-currency environment
- Works in conjunction with IS service owner to Develop, administer, control and optimize total cost of sourcing in line with the business and sourcing targets

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) years of IT finance, specifically dealing with pricing in a multi-sourced multi-national environment
- MBA/CPA certification highly desired
- Working knowledge of applicable Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
- Thorough understanding of Outsourcing Services Agreements, Pricing Models, Financial Analysis, Cost Models, Cost Allocation processes
- Understanding of IT services such as computer/infrastructure services and telecommunications services; pricing models, and resource units (measures of service utilization)
- Strong problem resolution skills, proven effectiveness in a team/Matrix environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to senior leaders
