Finance Manager, Investment Management - Fixed Term Contract

Due to a period of internal transformation and change, our client, a well-known name within Investment Management, are currently seeking a experienced individual for a six month contract, to assist with BAU Financial Management and Reporting.

Reporting into the head of UK Financial Reporting, the incoming support will assume responsibilities for monthly reporting and production of year end statutory accounts.

This will include, but not be limiting to the following:

- Managing an experienced team of accountants ensuring that all work is efficiently and effectively distributed, and time is managed accordingly
- Preparation of all financial statements for designated entities, including liaising with external auditors statutory accounting
- Preparation of financial papers for use by the board of directors
- Ensuring all compliance and regulatory procedures is adhered to, including IFRS, GAAP and SOX
- Carrying out relevant procedural and risk assessments within remit
- Conducting performance management reviews of team

We are looking for an individual who is highly experienced in the above tasks and therefore able to make a smooth transition into the role. Experience within Investment Management is highly desirable however the wider financial services will also be favoured.
