Finance Manager, Energy Engineering & Procurement

Our client has strong international presence in the engineering and procurement market, and is looking to expand their interests even further. They have recently secure contracts in Western Africa for power station construction and as such are hiring for a number of positions - including an experienced Finance Manager. As a senior member of this team, you will be expected to work directly on existing and new plant construction projects from a financial and cost control perspective. You will provide efficient and effective support to both internal project teams, and directly to major clients. In addition, you will be working on the creation and development of full life-cycle financial and technical performance models for power generation projects which will be used as the basis to justify project finance.

Within this role, you will have close collaboration with original equipment manufacturers, suppliers and an in-house multi-disciplinary technical project team. A clearly project-based role, you will be required to establish the technical and financial inputs for each new project.

The successful candidate will posses:

* Previous managerial experience within a similar role.
* Strong experience within financing major technical projects such as power plants.
* Experience win managing budgets and creation of business plans.
* Experience with negotiating major contracts.
