Finance Manager

A new opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the Commercial Banking Team at a leading bank in Banbury has arisen. The role is available for an immediate start, on a three month contract with longer term opportunities available.

WHAT'S ON OFFER:

Contract: 3 months

Rate: £250- £350

Location: Banbury

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Preparation and review of monthly reconciliations in a multi-currency environment
- Interrogate and use systems including Finance (SAP) and Business platforms to support the month end process and to resolve issues/queries arising on a day to day basis
- Support the production of monthly management information
- Production and processing of monthly journals into SAP
- Identify and support delivery of changes to achieve continuous improvement
- Support month end and year end close process including the annual audit
- Establish and build relationships with stakeholders to support the provision of quality and timely information

ESSENTIAL SKILLS EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledge and application of accounting standards (IFRS)
- Knowledge of identification and application of controls
- Audit and quality assurance
- Understanding of the Finance Systems architecture and processes
- Ability to influence and communicate across all areas of the business
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Good attention to detail and analytical review skills
