Finance Manager role for FTSE 100 FINANCIAL SERVICES Company based in NORTH WEST. This is an initial 3-6 MONTH CONTRACT, paying between £400-500 a day.

Applicants for this Finance Manager role should have a good understanding of IFRS based reporting and UKGAAP, and have proficient knowledge of the Insurance and Finance/Financial industry.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Finance Manager who has experience of dealing within the Insurance market. This role will require candidates to provide a strong focus on governance and controls processes and produce statutory and regulatory reports amongst others.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post qualified experience.
- Knowledge and experience of Life Insurance.
- Extensive understanding of IFRS and UKGAAP.
- Working knowledge of General Ledgers.
- Ability to Matrix manage the work of team members.
- Oracle systems experience.
- Strong financial reporting experience.
