Finance Manager

My client are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager who will be able to meet strict deadlines to prepare service charge accounts for a portfolio of over 300 developments and to oversee a team of 2-3 staff.

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified or AAT qualified with at least two years' experience working in a service accounts environment. The role requires a very thorough understanding of double entry and an ability to persevere with any problem solving. Experience of managing a team essential.

Duties for the role shall include:
1. Assist Finance Director with allocation of workload between Service Charge Accounts Team.
2. Assist Service Charge Accountants with queries on their accounts referring matters to Finance Director only where necessary.
3. Preparation of service charge accounts to an agreed template and standard within agreed deadlines. 4. Liaise with Managers to establish year end adjustments and to deal with queries.
5. Liaise with external accountants.
6. Prepare draft levy calculations and liaise with Property Accounts Manager re raising of invoices.
7. Undertake other general duties as required from time to time to assist in the success of the company.
