The Finance Projects organization is the principal provider of professional finance advice and services to P&Ts major projects.

The Finance Manager Projects OneGas is a pivotal role in the Project Delivery team in OneGas (UK and NL Offshore projects in the southern North Sea area). The Finance Manager Projects OneGas is accountable for driving world class financial management through the various phases of the projects in the portfolio.
Activities range from
(i) business decision support,
(ii) governance, control and assurance,
(iii) project support,
(iv) planning and reporting,
(v) contract management activities,
(vi) contracting and procurement,
(vii) treasury/tax, legal and insurance liaison, to
(viii) people development and leadership.

The role requires occasional travel to project locations (UK) and contractor offices (West Netherlands). The Finance Manager Projects OneGas reports to the Finance Manager Projects Netherlands & JV who is based in Rijswijk.

Experience and Qualifications required

University level education with a degree in Accounting or Finance. A Post- graduate degree or professional accounting qualification will be an advantage.

Experienced finance professional with the ability to gain the confidence of various internal and external parties building on strong knowledge and understanding of the business drivers.

Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

A demonstrated ability to communicate/influence effectively with all levels throughout the organization.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and deliver on business value drivers.

Due to the scale, complexity and budget associated with the projects a number of technical finance skills are required for this role, including:
IFRS and accounting procedures.
A thorough understanding of value management including capital budget requirements and the principles of economic calculations.
