Finance Manager

My Public Sector client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in London on an initial 12 month contract. The role will involve preparing financial reports and briefings (tax returns, forecasts, balance statements, etc.), preparation and submission of budgets in line with legislative and ethical accounting practices, preparation and implementation of tender documents and purchasing practices and overall responsibility for accounting procedures and payroll, contributing fully to the development of departmental strategy and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plan and targets.

To be considered for this role candidates require the following skills and experience:

-Must be a Qualified Accountant (CCAB)
-Extensive understanding of financial products (eg investments, loans, guarantees etc)
-Strong stakeholder management and influencing/negotiation skills
-Experience of managing budgets and forecasting in a complex environment
-Excellent communication skills
