Finance Manager

FINANCE MANAGER - ACQUISITIONS - 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Project People are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager on a 6 month contract, working for a rapidly growing company based in Reading.

As Finance Manager your primary responsibility will be for the planning and reporting of Acquisition capex. You will need to ensure accurate reporting and accounting in order to control spend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead finance person for Acquisition Capex - a £100m project
- Planning Acquisition spend - understand milestone planning and all the parameters which impact volume and capex spend
- Ensure processes are in place to manage spend
- Role includes all acquisition spend - legal and agent costs, third party out souring and costs associated with dealing with Multi Site Agreements
- Ensure monthly reporting is accurate
- Business Partnering to ensure all forecasts assumptions are owned, understood and actual performance is clearly explained

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:

- Analytical
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Finance Qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
- Preferably from a blue chip, property, telecoms or utilities background
