Finance Business Manager

Our Banking client is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their Edinburgh based team for 12 months initial contract.

The successfully candidate will have previous banking experience as well as the following skills:

*Be able to challenge the forecasts entered by the PMs to ensure that they're robust
*Financial Planning: Add value to weekly/monthly discussions and decisions in Management meetings
*Ensure financial reporting is consistent, accurate and timely; from all systems, to all stakeholders, at all times. This to enable informative decision making within and outside the programme structure.
*Overall responsibility for the reporting pertaining to the monthly re-forecasting cycle within the portfolio
*Have extensive Project accounting experience
*Have vast understanding of accounting standards (Cash and P&L accounting) and technical accounting terminology
