Finance Manager

Finance Manager, £40,000 - £50,000, Cardiff (12 month Contract).

An instantly recognisable organisation in the heart of Cardiff is currently looking to add an experienced finance manager to their team in order to cover for a maternity leave. This organisation has gone from strength to strength and thanks to a recent change in funding they are now looking to expand rapidly throughout the next 2 years.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, duties for this role include:

-Managing team of 3 qualified accountants, 1 PQ and a number of transactional staff.
-Overseeing production of annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
-Liaising with group and parent accounting team and presenting periodic results, management accounts, forecasts, budgets and strategy.
-Ad hoc projects as directed. EG: costing, mergers & system development.
-Overseeing transactional duties and ensuring that all incoming/outgoings are billed accurately & timely.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 2-3 years post qualified experience. On top of this, previous management experience is vital as well as the ability to deliver excellent service to tight deadlines.
