Finance Manager

My client is a large Broadcasting and Media house based in West London. They are currently looking for a finance manager to step in and work within a fast paced and exciting area of the business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
*Provide financial support including financial modelling of new business proposals.
*Provide commercial decision support analysis by working alongside the senior management team. This key responsibility includes formulating and delivering insightful reports, solutions and recommendations to drive the business forward.
*Work collaboratively across Consumer Digital and the divisions/regions, specifically collaborating with Global News, and Future Media, ensuring effective co-ordination, shared knowledge and information, and mutual support where appropriate.
*Advise the Senior Management team on understanding and optimising the financial implications of day-to-day business decisions alongside the development of new business plans.
*Co-ordinate the various internal reporting and commentaries on a global basis required by the corporate centre: the 5 Year Plan process, quarterly forecasts and yearly budgets etc.
*Responsibility for the preparation and development of monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets ensuring their accuracy and timeliness.
*Work with the FC to establish a strong financial control and reporting environment.
*Communicating key financial terms and controls to non-finance staff.
*The coaching and development of direct reports.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills:
*Strong commercial finance background. Experience within a digital/technology or a new business advantageous.
*Ability to prepare business models for new business areas with a lack of trading history.
*SAP would be an advantage
