I am recruiting on behalf of a pioneering NHS Foundation Trust hospital who require a interim Finance Manager to cover a 6 month maternity leave.

Candidates should be a qualified Finance Manager with recent experience within an NHS Acute or Foundation trust. This is an excellent opportunity to develop key skills in financial management, staff supervision, QIPP/CIP schemes, PbR and provider income.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Staff supervision
* Budget setting and forecasting
* Financial reporting
* Senior management accounting
* Meeting with budget holders
* Variance analysis
* Month end accounts closure
* CIP monitoring and tracking
* Idenitying new areas of savings
* Ad-hoc duties where required

Essential skills:

* CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant
* NHS Acute or Foundation Trust experience
* Management accounting
* Finance Manager
