FINANCE IT SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER Client: Leading Investment Bank Role: IT Senior PM Rate: Negotiable up to £675/day Base: London Type: Contract Duration: 6 month rolling Role Description The purpose of the programme as a whole is to implement a new Accounting Rules Engine. This is part of initiative for the bank to move away from the existing back-office accounting process to a front office driven process. The other objective is the Finance Transformation Programme; which will provide the core technology tools for Finance - implementation of a new General Ledger and a new Financial Data Store holding data at a transactional level for various reporting. INVESTMENT BANKING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY TO BE PROPERLY CONSIDERED. Person Requirements * Strong Delivery Focused PM * At least 5 years recent and concurrent IB experience * Developed interpersonal skills * Knowledge of Global Markets traded products; FX, Equities, Derivatives - as well as processing flows * Experience of making technical design/implementation decisions Required Qualifications/Experience * Prince 2, PMP, P30; knowledge of PM control methodologies * Previous experience of implementing Accounting Rules Engine (ideally Microgen Accounting Hub) * Degree in IT related subject + Finance PG study (adv) * Ideally early career as an app developer where later moved in project management If you think this sounds like you, please do e-mail a copy of your most up to date CV.
