Location: UK, South East & EMEA travel
Rate: Senior Interim rate

eu-solutions, is a leading search firm dedicated to placing finance systems professionals to world class transformation projects. We have been appointed to search and select a senior finance professional to work on a global budgeting and planning project. The programme, which spans 20 countries, is designed to create a common financial planning solution for the organisation's operating companies around the World.

This role has three main remits - to support the functional roadmap of the solution, drive user adoption of the common template and maintain the integrity of the solution, ensuring it meets local business principles, processes and rules.

Typically, your deliverables will include:

- Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in financial planning & analysis to support and drive user adoption of the new planning solution
- Ensure the planning solution meets global and local business requirements and is compliant with the common template
- Work with senior stakeholders to ensure the planning design meets common benefits and process improvements
- Work closely with the systems integrator to ensure timely delivery of systems enhancements and changes, reverting back to further enhance as required
- Lead the business requirements, workshops and design of the future roadmap of the planning solution to incorporate new process improvement, for example reporting, long range planning or cash flow forecasting

Your profile:

- Applicants must have a proven track-record in financial management and specifically financial planning & analysis and Opco planning
- It is expected that you hold an accounting qualification
- Must have experience of managing projects for process and business improvement and end to end implementation experience
- Comfortable liaising with senior finance stakeholders up to country manager and FD level in order to gather requirements and lead design workshops
- Previous experience of at least one project that has implemented Oracle Hyperion Planning, to meet the business process improvement.
- A strong understanding of the Hyperion Planning tool from a functional perspective and experience of working with SI or development resource to facilitate changes.
- Technical development skills are not essential but you must have a deep understanding of the functionality and working of the Hyperion Planning application
- Flexibility to travel to local operating companies across EMEA for 2 - 3 day periods
- Excellent advisory and consulting skills
