Finance IT Application Support: London: PERM

This is a fantastic opportunity with a leading, British, Investment Bank who are looking to hire a senior application support analyst on a permanent basis for their Canary Wharf office.

This particular role will slot into the Finance IT team, which covers the Middle Office and Back Office systems. This is a small, but very high performing team, who are currently going through a lot of change to improve service availability. This is the reason why the manager is looking for a senior member of the team and someone who can slot into this function and add value to the service delivery.

The requirements for this role can be split into two parts which break down to communication skills and technical skills. Firstly, you must have very strong communication skills, both written and verbal as you will be facing off to Users on a daily basis. Secondly, you need to be highly technical. These skills MUST include:

- Unix - you need to be able to deep dive on the UNIX platform
- Oracle Database, particularly PL/SQL
- You must have experience within a Middle/ Back Office function in an investment Bank
