Finance Credit Controller

Credit Controller
Hatfield
£8.94 per hour Basic

An opportunity has arisen based in the Hatfield office, for a Credit Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible of maximising cash flow through the timely collection of debts and reduce aged debt in line with company targets and credit policy, and to develop and maintain excellent working relationships both with external customers and other internal departments.

Roles & Responsibilities
Cash collection
Ascertaining details of queries preventing payment
Sourcing and resolving queries
Tracking and monitoring progress of queries
Understanding customers payment processes
Developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships
Escalating debt related issues
Improving internal/customer processes
Cash and debt performance reporting
Interdepartmental liaison, principally with Sales Ledger, Credit Assessment and Treasury

KEY REQUIREMENTS
Extensive experience of Credit Control in a large corporate environment
SAP experience
Experience with dealing with ledgers of £5-10 million
Initiative and resilience
Good standard of numeracy
Experience of computerised accounting systems
Excellent communication skills with ability to deal with people at all levels
Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
Ability to prioritise
