Good track record in financial analysis and reporting.
Public Sector experience in business and financial reporting preferred.
Experience of managing and operating monthly management accounts production (including use of finance systems) and line management experience
o Ability to grasp the realities and complexities of the business and understand the implications of applying specialist knowledge
o Ability to assimilate and convey complex and challenging information to a variety of audiences
o Able to engage effectively with staff at all levels and with different technical understanding.
o Fully qualified accountant (either CIMA, ACCA or ICAEW)
o Industry standard accounting systems knowledge and working knowledge of MS Office components especially creating and using complex spreadsheets.
o Ability to prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines.
