Finance Business Partner - 12 months - Wokingham - Negotiable Daily Rate

A leading Energy and Utilities client of Hyphen is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their site in Wokingham site for an assignment to span an initial 12 months.

Job Purpose:-

Act as Finance Business Partner to Electricity System Operator responsible for Capital Expenditure. This role is responsible for supporting the business in delivering capital projects to time, cost and quality. Give challenge to the prioritisation of investment and ensure financial benefits are realised. Support the wider function and areas of business in delivering projects and initiatives to deliver future value.

Key Skills/Experience Required:-

Undertake end to end process review
Identify all key financial process steps including all inputs, outputs, relationships and interfaces
Understand and document key risks associated with end to end process
Highlight controls in place to mitigate risk and assess effectiveness of these controls
Part of review will include review of all accounting transactions in relation to the process
Assessment of appropriateness of accounting transactions
Prepare regular management briefings
Present final findings to management
Seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
Identify performance measures appropriate to the business and process
Put in place corrective action planning and support implementation
Experienced financial professional
Audit experience required
Experience of working within complex organisations

Qualifications:-

-Role requires fully qualified accountant or equivalent professional experience
