Finance Business Partner

My Client from the Public Sector has a requirement for a Finance Business Partner to deliver high quality financial reporting, advice, information, analysis and interpretation to budget holders to underpin effective decision making. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have experience working in the public sector, preferably in Adult Social Care or Educational Services.

Main responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be part of a Corporate Operations Management Reporting Team. You will report to the Head of Management Reporting and will work closely with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a high performing, customer facing financial reporting service which proactively embraces change.

As a Corporate Operations Business Partner you will deliver high quality financial reporting, advice, information, analysis and interpretation to budget holders to underpin effective decision making, meaningful performance management and meet statutory requirements. You will achieve high customer satisfaction levels and make a real and demonstrable difference to the delivery of the business.

Essential:
*Previous experience within the Public Sector (Desirable)
*Qualified Accountant
*Previously worked within a Management and Accounting role with experience of monthly reporting and engagement with budget holders
*Experience of working in Adult Social Care or Educational Services.
*Strong delivery/performance focus
*Ability to contribute effectively in a large complex organisation with plans for radical change and improvement
*Experience of staff management
