This is an excellent opportunity to join a Top Tier Bank in Northampton as a Finance Business Partner.

THE ROLE HOLDER WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

- Participate in on going strategic questions ie product and channel opportunities, market evaluation, commercial opportunities, cost reduction.
- Provide strong business partner support and challenge to SBU.
- Key part in the monthly close process and related reporting and analytical review.
- Drive business performance through high quality analysis.
- Be up to date on all regulatory changes and have the ability to articulate the impact to the business.
- Provide initial finance expertise.
- Lead, develop, motivate and coach direct reports.

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL

- Formal accounting qualification - ACA or ACCA or equivalent
- Understanding of the value based management techniques
- Problem solving, analytical skills and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Excel

PREFERRED

- Experience of cards or financial services
- Broad business and industry knowledge and expertise
- Proven people management
- Experience in finance within large, complex organisation
