FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER

DURATION: 3 MONTHS

LOCATION: LONDON

RATE: UP TO £350.00 PER DAY

A leading organisation is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner for a 3 month contract based in London. The Finance Business Partner will be client-facing intended to provide Finance with a detailed understanding of the business units and allowing us to provide a value added service. Responsibilities will include advising on, and creating, the budgets, generating meaningful MI/commentary, calculating forecasts and finally presenting to the senior client base on a regular and timely basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING:

- Supporting clients across Investment Banking, Corporate and Wealth Management.
- Project costing, analysis and tracking
- Assist in delivering accurate budgets/forecasts with Clients
- Advise and validate month end journal postings, P&L analysis and commentary
- Monthly headcount tracking and reporting
- Finance Support on change/improvement projects
- Review MIS automation opportunities
- Answer ad-hoc queries and provide assistance and advice to Clients/Finance Mgmt
- Provide support to the Head of Cost Decision Support.

EXPERIENCE

- Qualified Accountant with good academic background - ACCA, ACA, CIMA
- Financial Service Experience
- Cost Control and budgeting
- Working with demanding and senior stakeholders at MD level
- MIS reporting
- Commercial Outlook
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Advanced Excel skills (look ups, pivot tables)
