Finance Business Analyst - ACCA, ACA. CIMA

Global Investment Bank, based in the City of London has an immediate contract requirement for a highly experienced Finance Business Analyst (ideally from a Markets, Brokerage or Accounting background) to come on-board for an initial 6 months contract.

SUMMARY

- The role holder will work in a new division composed of 3 Sub Business Lines: execution, Prime and Clearing, financing - which will produce all necessary dashboards to monitor all activity: sales activity, client revenues and profitability.
- Define and produce short term financial and activity dashboards of activity
- Under the responsibility of the PM of the project Management Information System to produce all necessary business analysis and user acceptance tests to define, implement and validate the target MIS.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Dashboard production - on the very short term (first release expected end Jan.), define with main stakeholders and key dashboards and produce them by consolidating information from existing dashboards.
- Definition, implementation and testing of target MIS - using the experience of the production of tactical dashboards, contribute to define and implement MIS:by:
-defining target dashboards, data, data source, key referential
- producing business requirements
- interacting with ITEC/ARC to define the best functional and applicative architecture
- Validating sources of data, referentials, data quality
- testing IT developments
- Produce reports (via excel)
- Produce business requirement
- Discuss functional architecture
- Define and lead test plans under the supervision of the PM of the MIS project.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

- Demonstrable previous experience as a Senior Business Analyst working in a Tier One Investment Bank - working in a Finance area.
- Expert Excel or Access skills
- Accounting background - ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified
- Good knowledge of Prime Brokerage activity would be appreciated
